I am Kristine Alexa Maturan, 17 years of age, from the beautiful place of Dumaguete City. I am now a grade 11 STEM student from RTPM-Science High School in Dumaguete City. I like watching k-dramas/movies, listening to music such as k-pop, dancing, and thrift shopping. In my free time, I also enjoy playing badminton and working out. 

 

As a student, I am not that intelligent, but I know to myself that I can get through by working hard and doing my best in my studies. I am a lazy type of person but still would like to learn.  This strand has piqued my curiosity and piqued my affection for it. It drew me out of my comfort zone, and I'm enjoying it now. Even though I did not get much knowledge in my subjects, I will continue to cope by learning from my mistakes and experiences in studying. I know it's difficult, but I'm a firm believer. Being a STEM student is not my ideal option, but I recognize that this is where God has me.

Based on my past experiences as a student, I am confused about my decisions in life where I find myself not sure about every choice I make. Lack of confidence and self-esteem, are the things that put me away from my goals and dreams in life. I will push myself to get through and see myself as a successful person someday. I want to see myself applying everything a have learned in this strand in the future. I have a lot of mistakes but I won’t stop learning. This may be hard, but I won’t give up trying. I may keep on falling but I don’t want to end up being a failure.
